1. Chemical / Process Engineering Consulting and Project Management:
I have a honorary bachelor of science degree in Chemical Engineering and I have over 15 years experience. I have worked
for 2 years in iron ore (Rio Tinto), 10 years in mineral sands (Iluka) and 5 years in diamonds (De Beers), refer
to my CV for more detail. I have had both production and project roles at each of the companies I have worked for
and I have also managed groups of people. I have natural leadership skills and enjoy leading large groups of people.
I am available as a contractor, consultant or project manager on a specific project. I am also open to annual support
contracts with companies for a specified number of hours per year at an agreed rate.
2. Business / Continuous Improvement:
I have a Six Sigma Green Belt and I have been using the Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve and Control methodology for the majority of my projects. I enjoy gathering and analyzing the data, determining which variable has the greatest effect, converting the opportunity into a project using the 20:80 principle, installing and commissioning the project and confirming the improvement made by the project.
3. LIMN “The Flowsheet Processor” Software:
I am the West Australian agent for LIMN “The Flowsheet Processor”, developed by David Wiseman. I am responsible for software sales, training and support. LIMN training can be done in house for companies with multiple process engineers or else companies can send process engineers to the open day courses. Individual mentoring for LIMN users is also available and will be costed on an individual basis. I am available to conduct LIMN simulations on behalf of clients specializing in models that predict actual plant performance, constraints studies and scenarios regarding process improvement changes. I also compile plant flowsheets either as generic overviews or more detailed sectional flowsheets, all flowsheets are customized to the client’s requirements.
